allentown

Allentown is a tree-line, historic community of narrow streets lined with Italiante cottages, Victorian homes, and Neo-classical mansions. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Allentown is the largest of the City of Buffalo's historic preservation districts. It is a neighborhood of ethnic and lifestyles diversity.

Off the residential streets, Allentown is a cityscape of shops, traffic, taverns, apartment buildings, and people on the go.

Some of the city's best restaurants and liveliest nightspots are here, as well as the city's largest concentration of antique stores.

amherst

Amherst is a 54 square mile community immediately north of the City of Buffalo. It is one of the most prestigious and fastest growing communities in the country. Currently the fourth largest municipality in Upstate New York, behind Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, the population now exceeds 113,000. Within the town are five distinct neighborhoods: East Amherst, Eggertsville, Getzville, Snyder, and the Village of Williamsville. Touted by Fortune magazine as a great place to live and prosper, Amherst has the lowest crime rate of any city over 100,000 people in the United States.

buffalo (city of)

The second largest city in New York State and the seat of government for Erie County, Buffalo is a blend of many diverse neighborhoods and cultures, with many warm and friendly communities.

As in most major cities, there is a wide range in the cost of housing. Upscale townhouses and condos line the Waterfront area, magnificent homes grace Delaware Avenue, and wonderful neighborhoods are found throughout the entire city.

Buffalo is home to the largest arts district in the state outside of New York City. The district offers a blend of theaters, shops, restaurants, offices, and condominiums.

cheektowaga

Neighboring the City of Buffalo to the east, Cheektowaga is about 30 square miles wide and is in the center of Erie County. The Greater Buffalo International Airport is located here. The neighborhoods offer a mixture of residential and industrial. There are many established neighborhoods and country farm areas in Cheektowaga and plenty of easy access to highways.

clarence

The town of Clarence is the oldest township in Erie County. Situated 20 miles east of downtown Buffalo and bordering the town of Amherst, this rustic community is home to many interesting antique shops, restaurants, and specialty shops.

east aurora

Located about 17 miles southeast of Buffalo, East Aurora, is a graceful community situated in a rolling country setting. Part of the area known as the Southtowns, East Aurora attracts many Western New Yorkers during the fall months to view the spectacular foliage. Housing ranges from older historic dwellings to modern.. EastAurora is the national landmark home of United States President Millard Fillmore.

grand island

Surrounded by the Niagara River, Grand Island covers about 33 squaremiles and is one of the largest fresh water island sin the United States. There are many spacious waterfront homes with boat launches and wide-opened wooded areas. Beaver Island State Park is a popular attraction featuring two excellent golf courses, a beach, and boardwalk.

hamburg

Sitting on the shores of Lake Erie, Hamburg is known as "The Town that Friendship Built." Home of the Erie County Fair, one of the largest county fairs in the country, this Southtown community is just 10 miles south of Metro Buffalo. One of the town's claim to fame - the creation of the hamburger.

lancaster

One of the fastest growing towns in the area, Lancaster is located 13 miles east of Buffalo and is home of the historic Lancaster Opera House, which has been restored and is now the site of state productions and professional theatre. Pleasant suburban living with all the amenities make Lancaster a popular community.

lewiston

Referred as the "Jewel of the Niagara", this rural community is located 20 miles north of Buffalo on the lower Niagara River, in western Niagara County. Just minutes away from Niagara Falls, Lewiston is home of Artpark, a one-of-a-kind cultural and entertainment complex that is center stage for world famous singers, dancers, and musicians. Lewiston's climate is relatively milder than most Western New York communities.

lockport

Lockport is located in the center of Niagara County, 20 miles northeast of Niagara County, 20 miles northeast of Buffalo and 18 miles east of Niagara Falls. Commuters find the travel scenic and relaxing. Lockport, a small city surrounded by rich farming communities, is the home of Niagara County's government. A city with a rich historical background, Lockport received its name from the construction of the locks in the Erie Barge Canal.

Reasonable housing costs, friendly people, good schools and lots of recreation are part of the mix that makes Lockport a family-oriented community.

niagara falls

Home of one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Niagara Falls is an active tourist and trade-oriented community. More than just a tourist destination, however, residents enjoy beautiful parks and trails, cultural events, and a wide-assortment of sports and activities.

orchard park

Eleven miles south of Buffalo, Orchard Park is a picturesque community that is part of the Southtowns. A vibrant area undergoing residential and commercial growth, Orchard Park is acknowledged as one of the choice locales in Western New York. tonawanda

Ideally situated between Buffalo and Niagara Falls, the Tonawandas are made up of the Town of Tonawanda, the City of Tonawanda, and the Village of Kenmore, Approximately 20 square miles, with three-lined streets, this suburban area offers easy access to most of Western New York. The Tonawandas have highly regarded school systems, plenty of parks and recreational activities, and a diverse blend of architectural styles.

west seneca

A community located in rich, rolling hills, West Seneca's history dates back to the 1700's when Indian tribes formed the Seneca Nation. The fifth largest town in Erie County. West Seneca is about 22 square miles and is located nine miles southeast of Buffalo. Location plays an important part in the popularity of West Seneca as the town is only 20 minutes from the airport and is near many of the major malls in Greater Buffalo.

youngstown

Thirty-five miles northwest of Buffalo, Youngstown is known as one of the most beautiful communities in Western New York. Shopping is diverse, with many quaint shops offering a wide variety of goods. Less than an hour away are both the cities of Buffalo and Toronto. You will find housing as eclectic as the shopping, with everything from colonial to contemporary.
